God Gives Success

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”  Joshua 1: 8 [NKJV]

If you are looking for success in anything, anything at all, you have found the means.  It’s right here in the Bible.  God says that if you think about what the Bible says and apply it to your life you will have good success.

The Bible is a living book, not just a book you read.  When you read the Bible God speaks to you through it so God is building a relationship with you as your read His Book.  You get to know Him and what He is like but more than that as you obey Him in all things He empowers you to do that which you could not do on your own.  Isn’t that amazing?  Who wouldn’t want to serve a God like that?

I invite you as a parent and you as a kid to join me starting Sunday to walk through the Bible this year.  I will post the reading for the day on this blog. I challenge you to read every posting because I know you will come to know God and understand the Bible much deeper than you ever have before.
